Saleh Mohamed Abdel Moaty studierte Graphikdesign in Kairo und an der Università Iuav di Venezia. Promotion zur Druckgraphik. Im Jahre 1987 gründete er die Fakultät für Bildende Künste in Luxor, Ägypten, und war Vize-Gründungsrektor der Luxor University. Zahlreiche nationale und internationale Ausstellungen, Kunstpreise und staatliche Ankäufe seiner Arbeiten. Forschungskoperationen u.a. mit der Hochschule Wismar, der Universität Rostov und der Universität Siegen.
